Hochfeilerhütte - Mountain hut

The Hochfeilerhütte is located on the southern slope of the highest elevation around Sterzing. Starting point: 3rd bend of the street Pfitscherjochstraße (1.650m) Route: Starting in the rear Pfitschtal valley, at the third bend on the road "Pfitscherjochstraße", cross the stream, following the signpost n. 1. A somewhat steeper path then leads up to a rubble basin and finally you reach the refuge Hochfeilerhütte after crossing a grassy ramp. Hut recommendation: leisurely summiteers will find a summit cross next to the hut.
