The mountains on the main Alpine ridge offers a few paragliding areas. The Rosskopf/Monte Cavallo summit above Sterzing/Vipiteno and some pastures in Ridnauntal/Val Ridanna are particularly well suited due to the thermal and hillside location. The Rosskopf/Monte Cavallo can be best reached by cable car, which is opened in summer and winter time.
A tandem flight is possible for everyone. You don't need to have special knowledge or requirements. You'll just need some good trekking shoes and seasonal clothing.
