The long-distance trail "Crossing of the Alps" leads you from Lake Tegernsee, Lake Achensee further into the Zilltertal valley and up to the Pfitscherjoch to Vipiteno/Sterzing. You will stay overnight in guesthouses, inns and hotels in the villages along the trail, enjoy a restful sleep and a very comfortable hiking trip. You can take the bus, the train or the boat to avoid the exhausting parts.
