Ritten – Quiet Observations

In the historic railway station building of Oberbozen, the exhibition showcases a selection of analogue photographs by Oswald Kofler, a Bolzano-based artist and photographer who has devoted more than fifty years to the art of photography with great passion.

The exhibition Silent Observations features a selection of analogue photographs by the Bolzano-born artist and photographer, who devoted more than five decades to photography. With a subtle and poetic eye, Kofler captured people, landscapes, and quiet details of everyday life. His black-and-white photographs in particular are distinguished by their precision, atmosphere, and graphic clarity.

Since childhood, the Ritten plateau was an important retreat and place of work for Kofler — a close connection that is powerfully reflected in the photographs on display.

The exhibition is open until 8 November, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
