The Fleckner - a peak with a generous view

The guided summit hike takes us from the Ratschings-Jaufen mountain station past the Wasserfaller Alm to the Rinnersattel. We reach the 2,331-metre-high Fleckner via the Jaufenkamm ridge. On the way back to the mountain station we pass the Äußere Wumblsalm and stop at the mountain hut Wasserfalleralm.

This hike is only recommended for people aged 14 and over.

Coming from Vipiteno, follow the signs for Val Racines until you reach the village of Stanghe, turn left towards Val Racines and follow the road for 6.5 km until you reach the lower station of Racines di Dentro. Take the cable car (extra ticket) in about 15 minutes to the upper station of Racines.

Sturdy shoes, sun protection, rain protection, a change of clothes, some provisions and enough drinks for the road.
