Discovery tour in the south of South Tyrol

The discovery tour sets off from your holiday accommodation, heading south along the “Via Claudia Augusta” cycle route to its final destination, Lake Kaltern. Everyone can start at their own pace and doesn’t have to cycle all the way to Lake Kaltern.

Along the route, you’ll pass numerous cultural treasures and places of interest that are just begging you to stop and take a break. The first stop, for example, could be the famous Orchid World in Gargazon, unique in Europe. Here you can charge your e-bikes whilst exploring the Orchid World or relax with a refreshing drink at the “Orchidea” café and recharge your own batteries. For culture lovers, the route continues along the Via Claudia to the MMM Firmian, which towers above the capital city of Bolzano and lies directly on the cycle path to Lake Kaltern. The journey then continues to the final destination, Lake Kaltern on the South Tyrolean Wine Route. After your tour to your personal highlight, our shuttle will collect you from the following points:
Pick-up at Lake Kaltern: 4.00 pm
Pick-up at Siegmundskron railway station below MMM: 4.20 pm
Pick-up at Merano railway station: 4.50 pm
