Cultural tour of the miner's chapel St. Magdalena

The Gothic miners’ church of St. Magdalena, dating back to 1480, invites visitors to explore. During the guided tour, the church’s history, architecture, and atmosphere can be discovered. Participation is free of charge, and no registration is required – a lovely outing for anyone wishing to learn about the church and its historic surroundings.

Coming from Sterzing, follow the road into the Ridnaun Valley up to Gasse. Next to the bus stop (turnoff Obere Gasse) there is a small parking area directly on the main road. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk up the small hill to the miners’ chapel.
