The Martlerhof is a farm with a lot of tradition, located in a quiet area above the Maulsertal. Higher located than the village Mauls, you have a beautiful view over the valley and the surrounding hamlet Ritzail, Egg, Flains, Förche. Located in a sunny place over the "Himmelreichschlucht" you can start here to hike to the Pfunderer Höhenweg in the Sengestal, to the Wilden See and the Wilde Kreuzspitze. From Ritzail you can hike to the Valser Joch and the Fane Alm. You can also hike with the snowshoes in winter. The next ski slope Rosskopf in Sterzing is 15 minutes by car away.
